Douglasdale SAPS and RSS joined forces with Alpha Omega Pitbull Training Club in a crime prevention operation which began at 6am on Friday morning at Robyn Park and along the river in both directions towards Witkoppen and the Jacaranda Bridge.

A fire broke out in Woolworths at Broadacres Shopping Centre this evening, November 6, 2013, fire-fighters are on scene and appear to have doused the flames. A witness at the centre said the damage didn’t look too bad.
