Haze of colour at Colour Me Crazy

Crazy 5KM and Colour Festival

The FedGroup Colour Me Crazy event took place on Saturday September 21, thousands of excited entrants arrived ready for a colour and music sensation like none other!

Unlike the many colour festivals and colour runs that have become increasingly popular over recent months, Colour Me Crazy prides itself on the combination of both elements - with a 5km colour run, with blasts of colour powder at each kilometre, followed by a killer music festival with some of South Africa’s hippest and most happening local acts.

The impressive line-up included performances by Mi Casa, Locnville, Dean Fuel, Roger Goode, Stephanie Be, Household Funk and Crazy White Boy who kept energies high, even after the 5km fun run!

“The response was phenomenal”, said Tavis Brown, organiser of the Festival. “Over 10 000 people of all age, shapes and sizes participated in the event this year the day packed with sun, movement, energy, music and a whole lot of colour!”

Kids 6 and under ran for free and were kept entertained in designated kids play area with plenty of child minders keeping them busy. For the older crowds there were designated bar areas to grab drinks whilst enjoying the colourful and electric atmosphere.

Skydivers dropped from the sky, filling the air with colourful powders, creating a rainbow effect above the crowds.
