Emergency water shutdown - May 21 2013

Please note that on May 21, 2013, Randburg Depot will be conducting an Emergency Shutdown in Bloubosrand, Waterford View, Oosterland Street.

The details of this shutdown:
START TIME: 4AM
END TIME: 7 PM

Reason for shutdown: replacement of rubber seal on 600mm Johnson.
The following suburbs/ area will be affected:
• Bloubosrand
• Johannesburg North
• Cedar Lakes
• Chartwell
• Parts of Northriding
• Kya Sands
• Broadacres Shopping Centre

Tanks will be placed in these suburbs as alternate water supply.

Please note that water tankers will be placed at the following points for the above Shutdown in Oosterland Street-Bloubosrand on the 21st of May 2013:
• Bloubosrand- Cnr.Riverbend Road and Witkopen (1 tank) and Agnes-Near Informal Settlement(1 Tank)
• Northriding- Cnr. Hyperion and Blandford(1 Tank) and Cnr. Bellairs and Blandford(1 Tank)
• Kya Sands-Albany Bakery(1 Tank),Cnr.River and Kelvin(1 Tank) and Dry Cleaners(1 Tank)
• Cedar Lakes-Refill the Tanks
• Johannesburg North-Cnr. Pritchard and School(1 Tank) and Cnr. Pritchard and Government(1 Tank)
• Broadacres-Broadacres Shopping Centre.(2 Tank)
• Chartwell-Cnr. First and Second Street(1 Tank) and Cnr.Third and Seventh Street(1 Tank)
